In December 2008 students from grades 3,6 and 9 took the international Cambridge Tests.

TSEP had a very special guest come all the way from Canada. We were lucky enough to be visited by a real Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer who happens also to be my brother, Aron Popescul. Aron came to visit and have a holiday in the beautiful country of Thailand. I asked Aron to bring his RCMP suit which is called a “red surge” to show the students during our Thursday afternoon assembly.

Children's Day

January the 9th 2009 was Childrens’ Day at TSEP, an event which happens in all the schools of Thailand, and is traditionally held on the second the Saturday of January every year. A variety of activities took place throughout the day over the whole of Thewphaingarm School and included everybody from grades 1 – 12. It provided an opportunity for the students to have fun, let themselves go, and eat lots of food.

TSEP Teachers 2-1 Cro Magnon FC

     TSEP Teachers proved they are more than just the whipping boys of the Thewphaingarm league with a well-fought win against Cro Magnon FC. The teachers, who went into the game having lost three of their last four games and conceding 15 goals in the process, responded with a much improved defensive display.

News - Inter-relationship Camp

              TSEP’s first Interrelationship Camp kicked off on November 6th including all students from grades 6 through 12. After a visit to the temple, we arrived at camp for opening ceremonies and unpacking.  Students were divided into 8 teams and created their own team motto; a chant generally bragging about how great their team was.
